OUR ROASTER

Tzara the Machine
Tzara The Machine is the solo project of Amsterdam-based Venezuelan singer-songwriter and producer Francisco Garrido. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Björk, Animal Collective and Bon Iver, Tzara creates a fresh organic sound mixing sampled acoustic instruments and electronic elements. Their music deals with themes of mental health, the struggle of understanding our own patterns and dealing with the hidden nature of our thoughts.

Brothers of Song
The Amsterdam-based band, deeply influenced by Soul, RnB, Jazz and Brazilian MPB, bring original intimate songs to life with a raw, aggressive, animal attitude, colourful and with natural, fluid grooves.
Their music is string and percussion based, consisting of vocals, acoustic guitar, cello, double bass and percussion, and together they offer a fresh sound that deeply relates to nature, humans as animals and the glitchy nature of imagined worlds.

Saturnos Santos Something
Saturno Santos' Something is a 9-piece ensemble that brings together multicultural expressions of young voices at home in the languages of jazz, pop and folk traditions; all with a collective punk ethos. With the intention to explore the in-between of songwriting and improvisation, they pour explosive grooves and subtle melodies into a brightly colored ritual.

Ana is trying to explore the complexity of human emotion to create the space of understanding ourselves and others through sincere storytelling and heartfelt melodies. The lyrics conveys an emotional depth that enables fostering empathy among the audience. Afterall, a stranger's story is another stranger's story."

Prayer refers to to the yearning quality of the trio’s music, which is both homey and disquieting at times and dark yet optimistic
